Privacy Policy

Blynt is used by school students, many of them minors. We treat that as a responsibility, not a formality. This policy explains in plain language what we collect, why, and what we will never do.

Who we are

What we collect

When you take the free assessment

• Your name
• An email address, so we can send your profile
• A phone number, so we can reach you about your result
• Your class, board, stream, gender and town or city (optional fields except class)
• Your answers to the assessment questions
• Confirmation that a parent or guardian is aware and agrees

If you purchase a Career Blueprint

• Additional details you provide: subjects, recent results band, entrance-exam preparation, city, mobility, an education budget band, family expectations and your own goals
• A record that a payment was made, together with a reference number

Why we collect it

• To prepare and send your result. Your answers produce your behaviour profile and, if purchased, your Career Blueprint.
• To reach you about your own result — by email, or by phone or WhatsApp if something needs clarifying.
• To improve the assessment. We study anonymised, aggregated patterns to make questions clearer and results more useful.
• To answer your questions. Questions students ask us are recorded so that we can answer them properly and improve our guidance.

What we will never do

• We will never sell your personal information.
• We will never share it with advertisers or data brokers.
• We will never publish your name, answers or profile publicly.
• We will never use your answers to label, rank or score you against other students.

Students under 18

Blynt is intended for students in Classes 9 to 12 and the first years of college. Many of them are minors. Before taking the assessment, every student must confirm that a parent or guardian knows about it and agrees. We ask for the minimum information needed to deliver a result, and nothing about health, religion, caste, community or family income.

A parent or guardian may contact us at any time to see, correct or delete their child's information, by writing to blyntintelligence@gmail.com from any address, or from the address used in the assessment.

Where your information is kept

Responses and profiles are stored in Google Workspace services (Google Forms, Google Sheets and Google Apps Script), and pages are delivered through Cloudflare Pages. These providers store data on secured servers and may process it outside India. Access is restricted to the small team that prepares Blueprints.

Your Blueprint is delivered through a private link containing a long, unguessable token. That link is specific to you. Anyone who has the link can view that Blueprint, so please do not post it publicly.

How long we keep it

We keep assessment responses and profiles for as long as needed to provide your result and to improve the assessment. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so within 30 days, except where we are required to retain a record of a transaction for accounting or legal reasons.

Your rights

• Ask what information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
• Ask us to delete your information
• Withdraw your consent and stop hearing from us

Cookies and analytics

Our website does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. Our hosting provider may record basic, non-identifying request logs for security and reliability.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant and affects information we already hold, we will email students who have given us an address.
